2008 - The 21th International Trade Fair for Instrumental

| Recertification of LUMEX quality management system. |
Lumex has passed in 2007 the recertification audit and has obtained the certificate of
compliance of the quality management system with the international standard ISO 9001:2000.
The scope of the certified quality management system covers design, development, production, delivery, sales, servicing of measuring
and analytical equipment for separation analysis, luminescent analysis, infrared spectroscopy, mercury analysis, atomic absorption
spectrometry, microwave sample digestion and also supporting application methods.
The certificate has been issued 12.02.2007 and it is valid until 11.02.2010.

The sixth "Mega" Symposium on air pollutant controls for power plants, co-sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) along with the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will again cover SO2, NOx, particulate, mercury and air toxic emissions.

Mercury is one of the most dangerous global scale pollutants
that continues to receive much attention and be of great concern
in all countries.
The International
Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant (ICMGP) has
become the most important international forum collecting together
leading scientists, representatives of governmental and non-governmental
organizations for comprehensive discussion of all the aspects
of the mercury pollution problems.
The 8-th ICMGP will be held in Madison, WI, USA, August,
6-11, 2006.
Lumex Ltd. & OhioLumex Co., being a leading company in unique
instrumentation and application development for direct mercury
analysis, will participate in the conference and exhibition.
In the scientific program of the conference, our specialists
will present papers on recent results covering the following
