Service

Installation and commissioning of Lumex instruments can be carried out at customer's site by our service engineers. Consultations and initial training of operating personnel are given with due account of customer's specific needs. Spare parts are delivered and repair is made immediately on customer's request (free within the warranty period).

Application support

Special emphasis is put on the development of detailed analysis techniques with a view of the most efficient use of Lumex instruments to cope with specific analytical problems. This makes the Lumex equipment especially useful and popular among customers. The techniques are being carefully developed by the research staff of the Lumex Department of Analytical Chemistry and then are officially approved by authorized State Authorities for each particular application area. At any time, our chemical engineers respond to every inquiry and render comprehensive consultations to the customer via a telephone or e-mail communication line.

Training

Training of customer's personnel can be provided in accordance with the customer's requirements. Training classes can be held either at the Lumex Training Center in St. Petersburg or at Lumex Represantation Offices, or at customer's laboratory. In the latter case training turns out to be most efficient, because instructors from Lumex take into account specific features of each laboratory and subjetcs of analysis.

Users' seminars

Topical Users' seminars are regularly held both at Lumex premises and even at most remote Lumex Representation Offices. The users are acquainted with the most recent analysis techniques and equipment developed at Lumex and exchange their experience. This provides an efficient feedback, which allows Lumex to be well aware of customers' problems and demands, and to respond to them in the most efficient way.

M a n u f a c t u r e r's  w a r r a n t i e s

Manufacturer guarantees the compliance with the performance characteristics specified in an Operation Manual, provided that the user fulfils the requirements for transportation, storage, operation and service set forth in an Operation Manual.

Warranty: The warranty service period is 12 months from the date of commissioning, including the period of the guaranteed storage.

Guaranteed storage period: The overall storage period before putting the device into operation should not exceed 6 months from the date of shipping from the manufacturer.

Manufacturer takes over free malfunction repair during the warranty period, provided that the requirements stated in an Operation Manual are fulfilled. Warranty and after-warranty repairs are carried out at the manufacturer's premises.

Normal operation of the supplied software is guaranteed only under the operating system specified in an Operation Manual. Manufacturer does not bear responsibility for possible conflicts of the supplied software with other programs installed by the customer.

The warranty becomes invalid in cases of a wrong usage of the system, presence of mechanical or other damages caused by negligence, and a loss of the Certificate.

The warranty does not extend to units not included into the standard complement of supply (a PC, printer, recorder, etc.). Such units, as well as vendors' components integrated into the supplied system, are subject to warranties of the relevant manufacturers. Replacement of such components, which calls for adjusting the supplied system, is performed for extra fee.
